Pastors in the United Methodist Church must have a 4 year college degree, three years of seminary, and serve 2 full years under a District Superintendent in a local church before they can become a full member and an ordained Elder in full standing.
Pastor Tim Albrecht is the 32nd pastor of this congregation.
Meet Pastor Tim
Pastor Tim's first career was in sales. Though he enjoyed the challenge, he felt God was calling him to do more. He first heard God's call when he was young, but like most young people, he did not do what he was told and went his own way.
Education
Pastor Tim graduated from UW-Oshkosh, January, 1985 with a BBA, majoring in Marketing. He then attended the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary and graduated in May 1998 with a Masters of Divinity Degree. He is a member of the Wisconsin Annual Conference and was ordained a Deacon in 1997 and an Elder in 2001.
